Class of 202?

Whether your journey so far has been easy or hard, it's still a milestone to celebrate and remember! Soon you'll be embarking on a new adventure but before you do, let's capture this moment, the here and now and appreciate it! Most likely your parents will be full of emotions just as you and they will want to document this time in your life as well.

I just recently celebrated my oldest daughter's graduation and it was such a mixture of pride and celebration but also remembering all the growing up that has happened so far. I'm so glad I have her senior photos to remember this time in her life, who she was in this moment, her likes, her passions, her dreams, her personality!

And that's what I want to capture during your senior session, the essence of you! Your likes, your passions, your dreams, and your personality! This doesn't have to be a stiff "look at the camera and smile" type session. This can be a fun time to bring out and capture this time in your life and who you are!

Some ideas on how to help bring out your personality in the photos starts with wardrobe. That's the easiest way to say out loud on the outside, what kind of person you are. If you like more than one style, feel free to bring an alternate wardrobe! Next might come easily based on your wardrobe preferences but where do you see yourself? In a park among the trees and flowers? Walking along the beach? Or are you gravitate more towards the city scape? There's really almost an endless amount of possibilities! Together, I'm sure we can dream up some ideas!

Recently, I had a senior session where the twins worked, at the Botanical Gardens, and they were able to take photos with the animals there, which was a really fun way to showcase their personalities and their passions! So whether your passion is books, animals, cars, or whatever it may be, we may be able to find a way to incorporate that into your session!

Another fun idea is to bring a sign saying where you'll be going to school, your cap and gown with a tassel of the year you're graduating. All those little details add up to tell a story, the story of you! If you're not sure, feel free to contact me about it and we can talk about how this could look for you.

Lastly, a note to mom/dad/parental figure, you helped raise this young graduate, please prepare to be in a photo or two, because you deserve to be standing next to your graduate! I purposely hired a photographer to take photos of my daughter where my family and I could also be in the photos (since I couldn't photograph myself) after I had taken my daughter's solo photos, and I'm so glad I did! I'll always treasure them!

The count down is on to graduation, let's make it a great one!

My daughter loves her horse and knew she wanted some with her but she also wanted photos in a dress, don't be afraid to incorporate multiple looks, side note: I feel pretty confident taking photos of horses!

These two guys worked at the Botanical Gardens, and were able to get photos with the animals there!
