Hi there,

I'm Cora Johnson, mother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend. I'm passionate about storytelling in a photography medium. I have loved photography for as long as I can remember. As a kid, it was my desire to one day be a national geographic photographer and create beautiful nature calendars like the ones that hung in my room. I posed my friends and family every chance I got. I grew up and while I always had a camera with me, I didn't think it could be a real career, so I listened to the doubting side of my brain to get a real degree, a degree in education. But then I had two beautiful daughters and wanted to capture the sweet tender moments with my girls and all their milestones. Then one day, I was discovered by a wedding photographer, she asked me to be a second photographer for her and it was love at first sight! I have shot weddings for twelve years and I truly love it! For the first six years, I worked for her as a second shooter, and for the last six years co-running a business with a friend. My business partner last year moved across the country so here I am embarking on this adventure on my own for the first time! I'm not new to the photography business but my business is new!
